"We did not put in a pool when we built our house ten years ago. A few years later, after the birth of our first granddaughter, we started thinking, “we could sure have a lot more fun in our back yard if we had a nice pool." We knew that our landscaping specialist had put one in a couple of years earlier and so I spoke to him about the process and asked for recommendations. He was very encouraging and gave me the name of a Pools of Fun salesman, Bruce Holmes.

Bruce responded quickly and was very professional and helpful, showing us many options from which to choose in order to install a nice pool. We made all the selections – all the bells and whistles were included. When Bruce came back with the price, there was immediate “sticker shock.” When I shared this with Bruce, he immediately came up with a series of changes that would enable us to have a wonderful pool and also achieve my cost target. We signed the deal in late August, and Bruce said we’d be able to have at least one pool party before closing the pool for the season.

Next, I met our project manager, Dan Hignight , and he went over the schedule and gave me his cell phone number so that I could call him with any questions or concerns. The process went incredibly fast. We had water in our new pool in just a few days. I still cannot imagine how quickly these guys put these things together. I was able to watch every stage of the process and know how every part of the pool came together. I am very impressed with the engineering and craftsmanship that is present in my backyard pool.

Pools of Fun had a wonderful contractor that did the concrete work on the pool deck. We also used our own contractors for a shade-giving cabana and poolside lights/audio. Pools of Fun was anxious to work with the other contractors, and Dan was the focus for these communications and coordination.
