Splash for Eggs – Your Underwater Egg Hunt

Splash for Eggs is a great game for your swimmers at home and a great way to use all those plastic Easter Eggs you still have around. Fill some colorful Eggs with coins (avoid copper pennies-silver dollars work great).  Toss all the eggs into the pool. Select a child to be first. The child swims underwater from the starting spot and tries to collect as many of the eggs as possible while underwater. When the player comes to the surface, their turn is over. Collect the players eggs and add up the coins. Toss them back into the water for the next player. Each player takes their turn and the winner is the player with the most money collected.

Remember to always keep children in sight within quick and easy reach when they are in the water. Do not allow children to play where water is too deep for their swimming ability. Do not throw the eggs out of water or aim at another person. Do not allow dangerous horseplay.

My daughter dives for coins all summer long. She absolutely loves it. I never thought to use Easter Eggs. What a great idea! I am definately going to turn up the heater this weekend and give it a go for the kiddos.
