The Safe Swimmer Pledge

Having been in the industry for 30 years, Pools of Fun knows the importance of water safety and has made it a core company value. “We have incorporated it in all aspects of our business”, said Tim Colon, President of Pools of Fun, “now we are taking it to the classrooms.”

Pools of Fun has a dynamic duo, Pete the Pool Safety Guy and Annie Brock, who travel to local kindergarten classrooms teaching the basics of water safety and helping the kids learn the Safe Swimmer Pledge. The Safe Swimmer Pledge is perfect for young children. We encourage parents to teach water safety at home and to never rely on only one means of protection.

The Safe Swimmer Pledge

#1) I pledge to NEVER not EVER swim alone.

#2) I pledge to NEVER not EVER swim near drains or suction fittings.

#3) I pledge to ALWAYS enter water FEET FIRST.

#4) I pledge to ALWAYS obey pool rules.

#5) I pledge to ALWAYS make sure there is a lifeguard or adult present when I swim.
