Pool Closing – 2023 Builds

• Visit your local Pools of Fun Customer Care Center at least two weeks prior to closing for a water test, water balancing (if needed), and winterization chemicals. Do not add pool chemicals less than 24 hours prior to closing to avoid damage to pool surfaces and equipment!
• A $70 trip fee will be charged, and your closing appointment will be rescheduled if there is debris and a significant amount of water on your cover or if you do not cancel your scheduled closing before 5 PM the day before the appointment.
• You should check your pool frequently during the winter months to be sure the pool water level has not dropped. Pools of Fun is not responsible for auto covers, liners or any pool damage due to low water levels. DO NOT attempt to open the auto cover during the winter.
• If your pool requires your breaker to be turned off, it is the customer's responsibility to turn off the breaker after closing.

Pool Closing Agreement, Payment and Warranty Terms

• Pools of Fun does not guarantee a specific date or time of arrival. Your service date can change without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Pools of Fun is not responsible for water chemistry at the time of closing. Pool will be closed as is.
• The pool equipment and parts removed for winterization will be placed in your tote for you to store for winter.
• Pools of Fun is not responsible for damage/breakage of owner’s handmade alterations to pool equipment/plumbing

Pools of Fun is providing this closing service based on industry standards designed to reduce the risk of off Season damage to the pool and equipment. Please read and understand the following warranty information:

We are responsible for:

• Freeze damage to pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, ozonators, and UV that we winterize
• Underground plumbing (only with the “Full Signature Antifreeze” Closing Program)

We are NOT responsible for:

• Leaks from underground plumbing with the Air “Blow-Out” Closing Program
• Leaks from equipment that cannot be winterized
• Leaks associated with pool light niches or conduit
• Damage caused by breaker NOT being turned off by homeowner, if required
• Damage to pool tile
• Adding pool chemicals, water balance, or opening condition of pool water.
