2023 Pool Opening Purchase Agreement
(for residential swimming pools)

We sincerely thank you for scheduling your service with Pools of Fun! We appreciate your business, and we look forward to serving you! While we cannot guarantee dates or times, we will do our best to open your pool in the anticipated date. Your service date can change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. We will begin scheduling opening services in early March.

Pool Opening Includes:

• Remove safety cover or tarp
• Remove winter fittings and install summer fittings
• Install Paramount Six-Port Module, if needed
• Install ladder, step rails, and basketball goal, as needed
• Start system and evaluate operation
• Complete Equipment Checklist

Pools of Fun will make repairs and replace parts, up to $100.00, without additional authorization from the customer in order to complete pool start-up. We will be happy to fold your safety cover or tarp and leave it poolside. We recommend cleaning the cover and hanging it to dry. We will not leave a malfunctioning system running, or leave the heater turned on.

Customer Responsibilities Prior to Opening:

• Leave access to the pool
• Power for the pool equipment must be turned on
• Have working garden hose available
• Leave out storage tote with summer parts, fittings, and other equipment by the equipment pad
• Water level MUST be at mid–skimmer level to start the equipment.
• Remove as much water and debris from pool cover as possible, as whatever is left on the cover will normally end up in the pool. Should a technician need to remove an excessive amount of water from your cover you will be charged an additional service fee of $195.00.
• Chemical treating, vacuuming , or cleaning are not included as part of our standard opening.

Pool Opening Agreement, Payment and Warranty Terms

• Pools of Fun does not guarantee a specific date or time of arrival. Your service date can change without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Payment must be made when scheduling your service. There are no refunds.
• 7% Indiana sales tax will be charged on all billable opening supplies.
• If any parts necessary for the opening are missing or unusable, they will be provided and billed accordingly.
• Pools of Fun is not responsible for the condition of your swimming pool water/water chemistry upon opening. Many factors can influence the water condition in the off-season. Pools of Fun does not apply pool chemicals at the time of the opening service. We recommend that after 48 hours of circulation, you take a water sample to your nearest Pools of Fun Care Center for analysis.
• Autocover maintenance services will be scheduled for June 2023.

Pools of Fun is providing this opening service based on industry standards designed to reduce the risk of off Season damage to the pool and equipment. Please read and understand the following information:

On any valid Pools of Fun warranty claim, damaged pool equipment will be repaired or replaced with new or reconditioned equipment or parts at the discretion of Pools of Fun. The age and condition of the damaged equipment will be considered and compensation will be prorated.

No Refunds will be issued for cancellation of services.
